David Marquez is the co-founder and CTO of Shipmates, a role they have held since 2020. Previously, they co-founded and served as CTO at xpanse from 2017 to 2021 and at shirt.ly from 2015 to 2017. David is also an Entrepreneur in Residence at Symph, beginning in 2025. They attended Y Combinator, graduating with the S22 cohort. In 2022, David was recognized as a Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree.
