Ik Yoo

Ik Yoo has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several decades. Ik began their career at Lockheed Martin as a Scientist from August 1988 to December 1990. Ik then worked at Bellcore as a Member of Technical Staff from January 1991 to July 1994. At Morgan Stanley, they held the position of Executive Director from July 1994 to March 2007. During this time, they developed and implemented various systems and played a key role in building a global team focused on application infrastructure development. From March 2007 to February 2012, they served as a Senior Vice President at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Ik later became an Independent Consultant at Morgan Stanley from March 2012 to March 2014. Ik joined MSCI Inc. as an Executive Director from April 2014 to April 2015. In 2015, they served as the CTO at Happy Mango Inc. From March 2016 to April 2018, they worked as a Product Development Manager/Engineer at KANERAI. Currently, they are a Security Operations Specialist at Symphony.com, a position they have held since August 2018. Throughout their career, Ik Yoo has demonstrated their expertise in various technical roles and has made significant contributions to the development of systems and application infrastructure.

Ik Yoo attended Carnegie Mellon University from 1983 to 1987, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. Following this, they enrolled at the University of Pennsylvania from 1987 to 1988 and earned a Master of Science degree in Computer Science. Additionally, Ik Yoo has pursued further certifications in the field of cloud computing, including the AWS Solutions Architect Certification - Associate, AWS Security Speciality Certification, and Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner. These certifications were obtained in 2019 from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
