Jonathan Lee

Jonathan Lee has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Jonathan started their career at KhattarWong as a Civil Litigation Intern, where they assisted with case preparation and shadowed a legal partner in court proceedings. Jonathan then moved on to the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF), where they served as a Section Commander in the 35th Battalion Singapore Combat Engineers, leading a section and occasionally a platoon in combat bridging operations.

After completing their national service, Jonathan joined DBS Bank as an intern in both the Group Audit - Risk Analytics & Capital Management (RACM) and Group Finance divisions, where they gained experience in auditing tax and accounting policies. Jonathan later took on a role in the Group Audit - COO Office, spearheading the implementation of the Bank-wide New Policy Architecture.

Jonathan then worked as a Debate Coach at UWC South East Asia, nurturing a team of young individuals and leading them to become National Champions of the Singapore Secondary School Debating Championships. Jonathan went on to intern at HSBC Retail Banking and Wealth Management, where they contributed to optimizing customer issues management and conducted a competitive analysis of retail and wealth services in Singapore.

In 2016, Jonathan worked as an Investment Management Analyst at Fulton Capital, managing hedge fund and private equity fund businesses. Jonathan implemented a risk management and portfolio analytics framework, traded equity derivatives, and managed the group's treasury against foreign exchange risk.

Jonathan continued their career at HSBC Private Banking as a Summer Analyst, where they constructed automated dashboards for monitoring management information systems data and prepared marketing materials. Jonathan then joined KPMG Singapore as an Associate in the Advisory division.

Most recently, Jonathan has been working at Symphony, first as a Consultant, where they focused on streamlining workflow for the financial services industry through APIs and chatbots. Jonathan also grew Symphony's presence in Southeast Asia and strengthened regional partnerships. Jonathan is currently serving as a Business Development / Account Manager, partnering with enterprises on their digital transformation journey.

With a blend of experience in legal, military, finance, and technology sectors, Jonathan has developed a versatile skill set and a strong track record of success.

Jonathan Lee holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences (Honours) degree in Economics and Political Science from the National University of Singapore. Jonathan is also a 2022 Level I CFA Candidate from the CFA Institute, specializing in Finance and Financial Management Services. In terms of additional certifications, Jonathan obtained the Certified SAFe® 6 Agilist certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. in June 2023.
