Petitprez Pierre

Petitprez Pierre has a strong background in software development and engineering. Petitprez started their career at Astek in Amadeus premises in 2007, where they worked as a Software Development Engineer. During their time there, they focused on the conception, development, and integration of fare search transactional applications and a distributed batch computation platform for travel.

In 2011, Petitprez joined Amadeus as a Software Development Engineer and later transitioned to the role of Principal Software Development Engineer in 2015. In this position, they were responsible for defining the architecture and governance for integrating MongoDB for cloud and legacy applications. Petitprez also provided guidance and recommendations for MongoDB projects and automated MongoDB deployments.

From 2019 to 2020, Petitprez served as the Software Development Manager at Amadeus. Petitprez led the Massive Architecture Cloud team and was responsible for driving the architecture evolution of pre-shopping platforms. Additionally, they acted as the product owner for the migration of these platforms to Openshift and the migration of the platform to event stream processing using Kafka.

Currently, Petitprez is working at Symphony as an Engineering Manager, a role they started in July 2021. Further details about the responsibilities and duration of this position are not provided.

Petitprez Pierre started their education in 2002 by enrolling in Classe Préparatoire MP at Lycée Thiers. Petitprez completed this program in 2004. In the same year, they began their IT Engineer degree at ISIMA, which they completed in 2007. During this time, they also pursued a Master's degree in Medical Imaging at Université Blaise Pascal (Clermont-II) - Clermont-Ferrand from 2006 to 2007.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Petitprez Pierre has obtained certifications from MongoDB, Inc. Petitprez became MongoDB Certified Developer Associate in May 2016 after passing the C100DEV exam. Petitprez also completed the M101P course, MongoDB for Developers, in July 2015.
