Vijay Prabhakar has extensive work experience in the field of DevOps and Infrastructure management. Vijay has worked as a Site Reliability Engineer at Symphony.com since 2020. Prior to that, they served as a Senior DevOps Engineer at Circles.Life from March 2020 to August 2020, where they focused on managing infrastructure and migrating applications into Kubernetes environments. Vijay also worked at Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a CSE-Deployments/DevOps from September 2018 to February 2020. Before that, they were a Senior DevOps Engineer and Lead Operations Engineer at Sprinklr from April 2016 to July 2018 and December 2013 to March 2016, respectively. During their time at Sprinklr, they managed a large number of AWS EC2 servers, automated tasks using Python, handled operational issues, and participated in business continuity testing. Vijay's early career included a role as a System Administrator at Apptivo Inc from September 2011 to November 2013, where they focused on deploying and managing servers and release management.

Vijay Prabhakar obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Computer Science from Raja College of Engineering and Technology, which they attended from 2007 to 2011. In terms of additional certifications, they have earned various certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS) such as the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, AWS Batch Subject Matter Expert - Internal Certification, Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect Associate, Amazon Web Services Advanced Networking Specialty, Amazon Web Services Security Specialty, Amazon Web Services Developer - Associate, and Amazon Web Services SysOps Administrator - Associate. Vijay also holds the Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) certification from CNCF [Cloud Native Computing Foundation]. Additionally, Vijay Prabhakar has completed the M102: MongoDB for DBA course offered by MongoDB, Inc. and the RHCE (Red Hat Certified Engineer) certification from Red Hat.
