Prashant Srinivasan

Prashant Srinivasan has extensive work experience in the field of AI, machine learning, and control systems. Prashant has held various positions at different companies. At SymphonyAI, they are currently serving as the Senior Director of AI Products & Applications, where they lead a team to develop and deliver advanced Industrial AI products and services. Prashant is particularly interested in applications of Generative AI and LLMs to condition monitoring and asset performance management. Prior to SymphonyAI, Prashant worked as a Senior Principal Data Scientist at SymphonyAI, where they focused on real-world industrial applications of AI, machine learning, and control systems. Prashant developed solutions for predictive maintenance and asset performance management for customers in industries such as Oil & Gas, Chemical Manufacturing, and Metals. Before that, they worked at GE Power as an Engineering Manager and at GE Global Research as a Senior Engineer. At GE Power, they served as an Engineering Manager from 2015 to 2019. At GE Global Research, they held multiple roles and conducted research on distributed power generation, system modeling, controls and optimization algorithms, and integrated model-based emission controls for natural gas engines. Prashant has a passion for mentoring interns and staying updated with new technologies.

Prashant Srinivasan earned a Bachelor of Technology degree in Aerospace Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, from 1998 to 2002. Prashant then attended Stanford University from 2002 to 2005, where they received a Master of Science degree in Aeronautics and Astronautics.
