Matthew Alhonte

Matthew Alhonte has a wealth of experience in data science. Matthew began their career in 2013 as a Data Science Consultant at Ophidian Scientific, where they assisted numerous small clients with data-related work. In 2018, they joined the University of Colorado Boulder as a Senior Data Scientist, performing statistical analyses and modeling in support of student success. During this time, they also worked as a Freelance Data Scientist for Toptal and a Data Science Blogger for Hackers and Slackers. In 2020, they joined Endeavor as a Senior Data Engineer, helping to lay foundations for the Customer Data Platform of one of the world's biggest media companies. Matthew also volunteered as a Data Scientist for Vital Sign AI (COVID-19). In 2021, they began working at Birch Infrastructure, PBLLC as a Data Scientist & Data Architect, and at Actium Health as a Machine Learning Engineer.

Matthew Alhonte obtained a Bachelor of Arts from Hunter College between 2006 and 2012, majoring in Psychology and minoring in Mathematics. Matthew also obtained a Machine Learning Engineer Nanodegree from Udacity in January 2020, a Triplebyte Certified Data Scientist certification from Triplebyte in August 2020, a Machine Learning certification from Coursera in July 2013, and an Excellence in Science Education certification from the Santa Fe Institute.
