Scott McDaneld

Scott McDaneld has extensive experience in information technology management, currently serving as IT Deployment Manager and previously as Information Technology Service Desk Manager at symplr since July 2019. Prior to that, Scott worked at Epiq from January 2018 to May 2019 as a Manager in Server Operations. Additionally, Scott spent nearly two decades at the University of Kansas from December 1998 to December 2017, holding the positions of Manager of IT Enterprise Platforms and Systems as well as System Administrator. This role included overseeing the administration of Novel and Windows systems, designing and implementing VMware virtualization, and managing data backup for over 1,000 users. Scott holds a Master's degree in East Asian Languages and Cultures from The University of Kansas, completed between 1987 and 1998, and attended Northwest Kansas Area Tech from 1980 to 1981.
