Daan Duppen

Daan Duppen is a Data Engineer currently employed at Sympower since November 2024. Prior to this role, Daan served as Lead Data Engineer and Data Engineer at Data Science Lab from September 2021 to November 2024. Daan began a career in data engineering at Arup, where responsibilities included Data Engineer, BIM modeler, and Trainee from February 2018 to August 2021, focusing on parametric modeling and optimization of concrete structures. Daan's early experience includes an internship as a constructor at Ingenieursbureau van de gemeente Amsterdam from September 2016 to February 2017. Daan holds a Master of Science in Information Studies with a specialization in Data Science from the University of Amsterdam (2019-2021) and a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences (2013-2018).
