Junru Chen

Junru Chen currently serves as the APAC Continuous Improvement Manager at Symrise AG, leading continuous improvement initiatives across plants in China, Australia, and Thailand. Previously, Junru Chen held the position of Acting Factory Manager at Sofina Foods Inc. and has extensive experience as a Process Engineer at Sacramento Valley Walnut Growers, where key responsibilities included managing continuous improvement projects and developing performance metrics. Early career roles included a Materials Testing Lab Technician at ALTANA Elantas PDG Electrical Insulation, Inc., and leading a product improvement project at Shanghai Shine Carbon Products Co., Ltd. Junru Chen earned a Master of Engineering in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor's Degree in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of California, Davis.
