Mark Aplet

Mark Aplet has worked in a variety of roles since 1998. Mark began their career as a Fabricator at Sierra Hydraulics, where they worked from 1998 to 2001. Mark then became the Owner/Partner of Freemind Studio, a small graphic design firm in Sacramento, from 2001 to 2006. From 2006 to 2010, they worked as a Designer/Developer at Page Design Group, where they contributed to web design, print design, photography, and illustration. From 2010 to 2012, they worked as a User Interface Designer and Front-end Developer at Flagship. From 2012 to 2014, they were the Owner of Visual28. Since 2014, they have been a Senior Designer at SymSoft Solutions, where they focus on projects for the public sector and uses technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, Less, Grunt, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, PHP, SVN, Photoshop, and Illustrator.

Mark Aplet attended Seattle Central College (SCC) from 2000 to 2006, where they studied Design, Photography, and General Education. In January 2019, they obtained a certification in Accessibility for Web Design from LinkedIn. In September 2019, they earned a JAWS Certified certification from Freedom Scientific.
