Jacob Garner

Jacob Garner has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Jacob began their career in the US Navy, working as a Flight Deck Aviation Ordnanceman and later as a Media Forensics and Malware Analysis Team Lead. Jacob then transitioned to Mandiant, a FireEye company, where they worked as a Consultant and later as a Senior Consultant. Currently, they are employed at Synack, Inc. in the role of Senior Director Technical Operations. Prior to this, they held positions as the Director and Senior Manager of Technical Operations at the same company. Jacob's expertise lies in technical operations and security analysis.

Jacob Garner obtained a Bachelor's of Science in Information Systems with a focus in Computer Programming from Strayer University. Jacob also holds several additional certifications, including CISSP - Certified Information Systems Security Professional, GIAC Certified Intrusion Analyst, GIAC Reverse Engineering Malware, GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst, and Security+ from (ISC)2, GIAC, and CompTIA respectively.
