Derek Collison

Derek Collison is the founder and CEO of Synadia, a company that specializes in communications. Derek has also been the CEO of COVAXX, Prodea Systems, Savonix, Inc., Vicarious AI, Xperiel, and XPRIZE. In 2012, they founded Apcera, a cloud platform that is secure and policy-driven. Derek has received funding from Andreessen Horowitz, Kleiner Perkins, True Ventures, and Ericsson.

Derek Collison attended the University of Maryland Baltimore County, where they earned a BS in Computer Science. Derek also attended South Carroll High School. Derek has certification from Coursera in Machine Learning Course (Original Course) and from Udacity in Introduction to Artificial Intelligence.
