John Anderson

John Anderson has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. John started their career in 2009 as a Special Education Teacher at Baliol School, where they worked until 2010. John then joined North Yorkshire County Council as a Special Education Teacher in 2011 and continued until 2015. During this time, they achieved outstanding feedback from lesson observations and received positive feedback from parents and partnership agencies.

In 2015, John transitioned into a role at Direct Line Group, initially working as a Recovery Assistant. In 2017, they became an E-learning Designer, creating interactive E-Learning material and consulting on training needs and impact for process changes. From 2018 to 2019, they served as an Automation Portfolio Expert, responsible for the performance and improvement of automation software. Notably, they led a project that resulted in significant savings from an underperforming automation tool.

In 2019, John joined Northcoders as a Software Engineering Trainee before moving to their current role at Synap as a Software Developer. At Synap, they build and improves the server-side application using various technologies such as Node.js, Typescript, Golang, MongoDB, and AWS.

John Anderson completed their education history as follows:

- From 2015 to 2016, they attended Leeds Beckett University, where they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Psychology.

- From 2005 to 2009, they attended Lancaster University, earning a BA (Hons) degree in Physical Education (secondary QTS), specializing in Physical Education.

In addition to their formal education, John Anderson also holds the following certifications:

- In June 2022, they obtained a certification in JavaScript Algorithms and Data Structures from freeCodeCamp.

- In March 2018, they obtained a certification in Responsive Web Design from freeCodeCamp.
