Synap AI is a Melbourne-based fractional AI advisory for Australian mid-market businesses. We give CTOs, COOs, and founders access to senior AI judgement without forcing them to hire a full-time Chief AI Officer they cannot yet justify.

The problem we solve
Most mid-market businesses have AI on the strategy doc and nothing meaningful happening operationally. The strategy is rarely the issue. The blocker is usually internal capability. Existing technology leaders are being asked to deliver AI outcomes on top of an existing role, without specialist support, while vendors arrive weekly with pitches that are difficult to evaluate without that same specialist judgement.

What we do
Our flagship offering is the Fractional AI Advisor retainer. Three intensity levels (Light, Standard, Intensive), priced for organisations from 20 to 200+ staff. Monthly engagement with on-site cadence, strategic oversight, and direct involvement in the work that matters.

Engagements run on a Discover, Design, Implementation methodology across four problem areas in parallel: Marketing and Sales, Operations, Finance, HR. The goal is operational outcomes that move metrics leadership actually reports to a board, not pilots that complete and produce nothing.

For organisations new to the work, we offer the AI Readiness Sprint: a two-week fixed-scope engagement at $9,950 plus GST. One working AI automation live in your environment, plus a 12-month prioritised roadmap. The Sprint fee credits against any subsequent retainer.
