Carla Kopp is an experienced software engineer and entrepreneur with a strong background in Internet of Things (IoT) full stack development, quality assurance, and project management. Currently serving as a Software Engineer at Synapse Wireless, Inc. since February 2014, Carla also fulfills the role of Scrum Master for the Cloud team, coordinating development activities and promoting team cohesion. As the owner of Weird Giraffe Games, Carla manages the design and development of tabletop games, overseeing hiring and contract negotiations. Prior experience includes roles at AAI Corporation, where Carla contributed to systems engineering and testing, and leadership positions within the Women in Electrical and Computer Engineering organization. Carla holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Alabama in Huntsville and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
