Jenna Allgeier has worked in a variety of roles since 2014. Jenna began their career as a Personal Assistant at Creative Living Options, providing 24/7 assistance to adults with disabilities. In 2019, they moved on to become a Paraprofessional Educator at the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA), assisting the lead teacher and students in a kindergarten classroom. In 2020, they worked as a Research/Editing Intern at Virtual Committees, leading a team researching drug policy and writing and editing a drug policy survey for publication. Jenna also worked as a Researcher/Writer/Editor at Civil Majority News that same year. In 2021, they worked as a Montessori Guide at Park West Montessori Inc and as a Creative Producer & Co-host at The News Reviewed. Currently, they are a Full Stack Software Engineer at SynapseMX, Inc. and a Mentor at General Assembly.
Jenna Allgeier attended Sierra College from 2011 to 2014, where they earned an Associate of Arts - AA in Photography. Jenna then attended California State University-Sacramento from 2014 to 2016, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts - BA in Photography. Jenna is currently enrolled at General Assembly, where they are studying Computer Software Engineering.
