Frederic Benoist

Frederic Benoist is an accomplished engineer with extensive experience in analog and RF IC design. Currently serving as a Senior Director at Synaptics Incorporated, Frederic leads the analog, PMU, and RF design division focused on WiFi and Bluetooth transceiver chips. Prior to this role, Frederic worked at NXP Semiconductors as a Fellow in analog design, contributing to NFC transceiver and secure element chips from concept to mass production. Additional experience includes leadership positions at Samsung Electronics and CSR, where Frederic excelled in various aspects of analog architecture, design, and verification methodologies across multiple advanced CMOS processes. Frederic's career began at Atmel and IBM, accompanied by a role teaching semiconductor physics and electronic circuits at ISAE - Ecole de l'air. Frederic holds an engineering degree in Microelectronics from ENSERB.
