Jim Stoneburner has over 40 years of experience in project management and engineering across diverse industries, including technology, biotech, and healthcare. Currently serving as Project Manager for Platform Development at Synaptics since 2008, Jim leads projects focused on touch interface development for tablets and notebooks. Previous roles include managing multidisciplinary projects at BC Tech, where Jim developed biotech instruments and medical devices, and consulting in product development at Sonolithics, where projects spanned various technologies including ultrasound and laser catheters. Jim's earlier experience includes leadership positions at Guidant and Diasonics Ultrasound, as well as foundational work at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory on technologies for Space Shuttle missions. Jim holds an MS in General Engineering and Engineering Management from San José State University and a BS in Physics from UCLA.
