Luan Chau

Luan Chau is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in electronic design automation (EDA) and integrated circuit (IC) design tools. Currently serving as Sr Manager of EDA Infrastructure and previously as Sr Staff DA Engineer at Synaptics since December 2011, Luan utilizes expertise in electronic design tools to aid in silicon product development. Luan also held the position of CAD Manager at Lattice Semiconductor for over a decade, where contributions were made toward IC design tools and team management. Early in the career, Luan worked as a CAD Engineer at Centaur Technology and AMD, focusing on IC design support and automation. Luan's career began at Motorola as a CAD Manager. Luan holds a B.S. in Software Engineering from the Oregon Institute of Technology and has pursued additional studies in Mathematics at The University of Texas at Austin.
