Michael Pan

Michael Pan is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in managing research and development teams across multiple global locations. Currently serving as Sr. Director of Engineering at Synaptics Incorporated since February 2021, Michael oversees R&D activities, drives software releases, and implements agile methodologies for cross-functional teams. Prior to this role, Michael held various leadership positions at Kudelski Group, where responsibilities included strategizing OS foundation developments, fostering partnerships with vendors, and managing global integration and certification centers. Michael’s early career includes influential roles at Nortel, AT&T, and Argo Data Resource Corporation, providing a solid foundation in software development and engineering management. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Midwestern State University and furthered education at Southern Methodist University.
