Sauryadeep Pal

Sauryadeep Pal is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Engineering at UC Irvine, following a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from Multimedia University. During their time as a Graduate Student Researcher at the UCI SMART Industrial Assessment Center, Sauryadeep collected power usage data for energy audits and developed applications to automate energy-saving calculations. They have also gained practical experience as a Software Applications Engineering Intern at Synaptics, where they implemented instance segmentation support and created Python APIs. Prior to that, Sauryadeep interned at HP, where they programmed automation tools to improve assembly line data analysis and monitoring. Sauryadeep is proficient in Python, C, and C++, and has a keen interest in the integration of IoT and AI, particularly in developing Edge AI solutions for low-power devices.
