Szymon Stroba

Szymon Stroba is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in software and firmware development, currently serving as the Director of Development Engineering at Synaptics Incorporated since August 2020. In this role, Szymon oversees the agile delivery of Host Software and Firmware for Synaptics Video Interfaces ASICs, contributing to use case definition, feasibility, and platform architecture. Previously, Szymon held the position of IC Software Vertical Lead at Synaptics, managing software and firmware deliverables for universal docking ICs. Prior to that, Szymon worked at DisplayLink in various roles, including Product Group Engineering Lead and Principal Development Engineer, where the focus was on similar IC development processes. Earlier experience includes a position as an Embedded Software Engineer at Energotest. Szymon holds a Master of Science degree in Telecommunications, specializing in Teleinformation Systems, from The Silesian University of Technology.
