Vishal Gupta

Vishal Gupta is a seasoned professional in IC design and physical design methodologies with extensive experience spanning over two decades. Currently serving as a Technical Lead at Synaptics Incorporated since October 2015, Vishal specializes in technical mentoring, hands-on RTL-to-GDS design of ASICs, and team leadership across multiple projects. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Member of Technical Staff at GLOBALFOUNDRIES, focusing on leading physical design for ARM processors, and as Principal IC Design Engineer at Broadcom, where responsibilities included comprehensive design and analysis for Wi-Fi SoCs. Additionally, Vishal held the title of Principal Hardware Design Engineer at Oracle Corporation, contributing to high-performance SoC designs and tapeout processes. Earlier career foundations were laid at Cypress Semiconductor, where Vishal focused on RTL-to-GDS design of SoC blocks. Vishal holds a Master of Technology in VLSI/IC Design from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communication from Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology.
