Eric Wong

Eric Wong has over 20 years of work experience. Eric started their career in 1995 in the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF), where they held various leadership positions focused on strategic planning, analysis, and commanding roles. In 2020, they transitioned to the private sector and joined Synapxe. At Synapxe, Eric has led multiple teams and projects, including roles such as Proactive 'Detect' Lead and Detect and Response Lead, where they managed cyber threat detection, SOC management, and incident response activities. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Cyber Intelligence, Engineering, & Architecture.

Eric Wong obtained a Master of Science degree in Computer Science (Information Assurance) from the Naval Postgraduate School in 2006. In 2005, they also earned a Master of Science degree in Defence Technology & Systems from the National University of Singapore. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Nanyang Technological University Singapore from 1997 to 2001. Eric Wong has also obtained multiple certifications in the field of cybersecurity, including certifications from GIAC Certifications and (ISC)².
