Victor Chin

Victor Chin is a seasoned professional in information security and cloud technologies, currently serving as the Technical Information Security Officer at Synapxe since July 2023. Prior to this role, Victor held the position of Senior Manager at Eastspring Investments from April 2022 to July 2023, leading cloud and application security initiatives and advising on cybersecurity throughout the software development lifecycle. Victor has also served as Head of Cloud at Pragma Strategy, overseeing an enterprise cloud managed services devops team and a cybersecurity consulting team. Previous roles include Cloud Security Architect at Booz Allen Hamilton and Senior Analyst at the Cloud Security Alliance, where Victor contributed to cloud security compliance and risk management initiatives. Additionally, Victor was an expert for ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 27, contributing to the development of ISO 270XX standards. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Information Security from Royal Holloway, University of London, and a degree from Nanyang Technological University Singapore.
