Brett Matteo

Brett Matteo is a Managing Director at The PFM Group and President of PFM Solutions LLC, which offers best-in-class financial modeling software branded as Synario. Synario is a malleable modeling platform that is easily configured to facilitate collaborative exploration of important questions, opportunities, and risks. It has been implemented by water and wastewater utilities, public power utilities, higher education institutions, healthcare entities, governments, and other public and for-profit enterprises.

Prior to his current role, Brett was a financial advisor in PFM's public finance practice, co-heading both PFM's Higher Education Group and Public Power Group. Additionally, he headed PFM's Quantitative Strategies Group, which provides primary technical, new product, derivative product, and modeling expertise for PFM's financial advisory and investment management clients. He has broad experience developing plans of finance for debt transactions while coordinating with PFM's Investment Advisory Group to develop integrated asset/liability management strategies for clients. In his career, Brett has advised on over $50 billion par of financings.
