Gerta Mihali

Gerta Mihali has been working in the software development industry since 2009. Gerta began their career as a Senior Software Engineer and Team Lead at IMB - Instituti i Modelimeve në Biznes, where they were responsible for leading the Alpha Business financial software team. In 2016, they moved on to ikubINFO, where they held the role of Project Manager and Scrum Master. In this role, they managed large scale projects using different methodologies, led a team of up to 15 members, and used tools such as Project Server, Microsoft Project 2015, Team Foundation Server 2015, Jira, Microsoft Visio 2013, and Case Complete. In 2019, Gerta took on the role of Scrum Master at Validata Group, where they were responsible for ensuring goals and scope were understood, managing product backlogs, and coaching the team in self-organization and cross-functionality. Currently, Gerta is working as a Project Manager at Sync.com, overseeing software development projects, managing the SDLC, and helping to design, develop, and deliver new features.

Gerta Mihali obtained their Master of Science (MSc) in Computer Science from the University of Tirana in 2011, after completing their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the same university in 2009. Gerta also holds certifications from the Project Management Institute (Project Management Professional (PMP) obtained in 2020), Scrum.org (PSM I obtained in 2017), and Microsoft (MCTS: SQL Server 2008, Implementation and Maintenance obtained in 2012), as well as an ITIL Foundation certification obtained in 2017.
