Carlos Perez's work experience includes a role as a Senior Design Engineer at SynchroGrid starting in 2019. Prior to that, they worked at Black & Veatch as an Electrical Systems Designer from 2011 to 2019, where they specialized in electrical utility substation design. Carlos also served as a Research Assistant at Texas A&M University-Kingsville in 2010, where they contributed to the development of an automation system and developed LabView code for a reactor system. Additionally, they had a summer internship at SynchroGrid Inc. in 2010, where they assisted with preparing quotes and improved their communication skills.
Carlos Perez completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Texas A&M University-Kingsville from 2008 to 2011.
