John Evans

John Evans has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. John served as the Chief Operating Officer at Synchron, LLC, where they were responsible for program management, financial management, engineering support, logistics support, and administrative support services for the Department of Defense. Prior to this role, they were a Director at the same company. John also worked as a Professor of Government Contracting at Defense Studies Institute, where they educated private sector companies on effective business practices with the federal government. In addition, they have held managerial and financial analyst roles at Morgan Borszcz Consulting and Systems Planning and Analysis respectively. Earlier in their career, they worked as an Investment Counselor at Fisher Investments and as a Financial Advisor at Merrill Lynch. John also served as a POM Coordinator in the US Navy and held various positions on naval vessels, including Navigator on USS SAN JACINTO (CG 56) and Main Propulsion Assistant (MPA) on USS LA MOURE COUNTY (LST 1194).

John Evans attended West Springfield HS in Springfield, VA from 1990 to 1992. John then went on to study at the United States Naval Academy from 1993 to 1997, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science.
