Maria Nardozzi

Maria Nardozzi has a diverse work experience, starting with their current position as a Field Clinical Engineer at Synchron, a role they began in July 2022. Prior to this, they worked as an Occupational Therapist at UPMC Shadyside Hospital from January 2019 to July 2022. Maria also held the position of Occupational Therapist PRN at Allegheny Health Network from November 2018 to September 2019. In 2018, they worked as an ESL Teacher at VIPKID from April to December, and previously completed a Doctoral Specialty Internship at Allegheny Health Network from April to August. Maria gained valuable fieldwork experience as an OTS Level II Fieldwork at the Washington Health System Wilfred R. Cameron Wellness Center from September to December 2017, and at Saint Vincent Hospital Erie, PA from June to September 2017. Before pursuing their occupational therapy career, Maria worked as a Front Desk Receptionist, Lifeguard, and Assistant Swim Coach at Kahkwa Club from May 2011 to September 2017. Maria also completed fieldwork experiences at Hand & Upper Body Rehab Center in March 2017 and Barber National Institute in February 2017.

Maria Nardozzi has a comprehensive education history. Maria earned their Doctorate in Occupational Therapy/Therapist from Gannon University, attending from 2015 to 2018. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in Human Performance at PennWest Edinboro, studying from 2010 to 2014.

In addition to their degrees, Maria has obtained various certifications. Maria is a Certified Brain Injury Specialist, certified by the Brain Injury Association of America in January 2022. Maria also holds the Certified Ergonomics Associate (CEA) CEAS 1 certification from The Back School, which they obtained in June 2020. Maria became a licensed Occupational Therapist in October 2018 through the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).

Maria has also undergone training in UX Foundations: Accessibility through LinkedIn in March 2022. Furthermore, Maria possesses certifications in CPR/First Aid & AED, obtained from the American Red Cross in February 2022, and lifeguarding, obtained in May 2016 through the same organization.
