Bill Oswald

Bill Oswald is an experienced engineering professional with a prolific background in software and hardware development, particularly in the FPGA domain. Currently serving as Continuing Engineering Manager at Synchronoss Technologies since March 2011, Bill oversees the maintenance, troubleshooting, and upgrades of deployed applications. Prior to this role, Bill held key positions at Comverse Network Systems as Release Manager and at Lattice Semiconductor, where significant contributions included managing the ispLever™ project and leading the Architecture and Device-Modeling Group, which delivered new FPGA products on an accelerated timeline. Bill's earlier tenure at Bell Laboratories featured contributions as a Distinguished Member of Technical Staff, focusing on software systems development for FPGA research, and as a Member of Technical Staff, where numerous patents were awarded for innovations in FPGA technology. Bill holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Lehigh University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Technology from Thomas Edison State University.
