Wayne Hefner

Wayne Hefner has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Wayne started their career at Penske Truck Leasing as a Programmer, where they developed applications using IBM technologies. Wayne then joined Mack Trucks, Inc. as an Analyst, leading the development and implementation of a global product data management system. Wayne later worked at ObjectMania! Consulting as a Technical Lead, designing and implementing web-based solutions. Wayne then moved on to IntellEquip as a Technical Lead, developing a web-based application for pump selection and configuration. Wayne's next position was at Synchronoss Technologies, where they held several roles including Senior Development Manager, Director of Engineering, Director of Cloud Engineering, and Senior Director of Engineering. In these roles, they led globally distributed engineering teams, managed all aspects of development across personal cloud and mobile content transfer products, and coordinated with clients and datacenter server solutions. Wayne has extensive experience in Java, J2EE standards, and cloud deployments in Amazon environments.

Wayne Hefner earned their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania in 1992. Later, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from the same university, completing it in 2000. In 2013, they obtained a certification in GIAC Secure Software Programmer-Java (GSSP-JAVA) from GIAC.
