Matej Gruľa

Matej Gruľa started their career as a PHP developer at FAST PLUS in 2008 and worked there until 2011. In 2011, they joined Ferratum Group as a TechLead/TeamLead & Senior PHP Developer. Matej'sresponsibilities included supporting and developing the internal PHP application Loan Handling System, bug fixing, data fixing, designing and developing new features, refactoring, and unit testing. Matej also took on the role of ScrumMaster and became a TechLead in 2016, where they were responsible for team leading, software architecture, and development. Matej Gruľa currently works as a Senior PHP Programmer at Synchtank, starting in 2019.

Matej Gruľa obtained their Magistr (Mgr.) degree in Aplikovaná informatika from Univerzita Komenského v Bratislave, where they studied from 2006 to 2011. In addition to their formal education, they have acquired several certifications including "Using SOLID Principles to Write Better Code - A Crash Course" from Udemy in September 2019, "Navrhove vzory (Design & Patterns)" from GOPAS SR, a.s. in March 2016, and "Certified ScrumMaster" from Scrum Alliance in December 2014.
