Insiya Bambot

Insiya Bambot has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Insiya started their professional career in 2013 as a Programming Teacher and Coach for Peachtree Ridge HS and El Camino Real Charter HS. In 2017, they worked as a Youth Entrepreneur Leader at the City of Los Angeles Business Source and also held the position of Robot Technician at Rolling Robots Inc.

From 2018 to 2020, Insiya served as the MakerSpace Lead Technician at the Office of Residential Life at UCLA, where they led workshops and taught students on machine and software usage. Insiya also played a significant role in organizing events and fostering diversity and inclusion.

Insiya's internship experiences include working as an Image Reconstruction and Machine Learning Intern at Fischer Imaging in 2019, and as a Software Engineering Intern for BCDR Agents at Datto, Inc. in 2020.

Insiya then joined UCLA DevX as a Backend Software Engineer for BMaps for a short period in 2020, before returning to Datto, Inc. in 2021 as a Software Engineer I. In this role, they also took on the responsibility of Security Champion. Insiya continued in this position until December 2022.

Currently, Insiya is working at Syncro as a Senior Software Engineer I, starting in 2023.
