Alexander Korotkov

Alexander Korotkov is an experienced executive in information security and technology risk management, currently serving as VP InfoSec & Tech Risk and CISO at Syncron, where responsibilities include business tech architecture and tech risk management. Previous roles include Chief Information Security Officer at Zettle by PayPal, where Alexander managed tech and information security oversight for iZettle, and Head of Information Security Department at PayPal, governing information security processes across CEMEA. Earlier experience includes leadership positions in top-tier organizations such as Eurasian Resources Group and ENRC Management, where contributions included strategy development, risk analysis, and the implementation of information security processes. Alexander holds a BSc in Information Technology & Information Security Management from the Management Institute of Kazakhstan and an IT Engineer degree from Polytechnic College, Astana.
