Daniel McKay is the E&I Engineering Manager at Syncrude Canada Ltd., a position held since 2024. Prior to this role, they gained extensive experience at Suncor, where they served as Area Reliability Manager and E&I Specialist, among others, from 2013 to 2020. Daniel began their career at Suncor Energy as an Electrical Discipline Engineer, E.I.T. and also interned as an E&I Co-op Student. They hold a Bachelor of Science in Pure Mathematics and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering, both from Memorial University of Newfoundland, completed between 2003 and 2012.
