Darrell Scheers

Darrell Scheers is a retired professional with over 35 years of experience at Syncrude Canada Ltd., where they began as a contract electrician and progressed to numerous roles, including 21 years as a Shift Electrician and 12 years in the Safety field. In their final position, they served as the Turnarounds and Majors SH&E Area Leader, responsible for planning and executing site safety for turnaround activities. Throughout their career, Darrell contributed significantly as a firefighter and first responder on the Syncrude Fire Team, enhancing their expertise in workplace safety. Even in retirement, Darrell remains open to short-term roles in TA Field Safety.
