Robert Walker

Robert Walker is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in mining and engineering, currently serving as the Manager of Mine Planning at Syncrude Canada Ltd. since January 2013. Walker has held multiple leadership roles within the company, including Team Leader positions in operations, geotechnical engineering, and tailings planning, as well as coordinating bitumen production and mining scheduling. Previously, Walker worked as a Project Engineer at KMC Mining and gained early experience as a Student Mining Engineer at Syncrude Canada Ltd. and a Field Engineering Student at Encana. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Engineering in Mining and Mineral Engineering from Dalhousie University and an MBA focused on Energy, Environment, and Natural Resources from the University of Alberta.
