Mark Chambers

Mark Chambers, CFA, is an experienced executive in the energy sector, currently serving as the Executive General Manager of Wholesale at Synergy since December 2017. Mark leads the wholesale optimization of Synergy’s electricity and fuel portfolios, managing a diverse team of approximately 36 professionals. Prior to Synergy, Mark held senior trading and management roles at Mercury NZ, where responsibilities included maximizing trading revenue from various energy generation sources, and at Delta Index as a Senior Sales Trader, gaining valuable experience during volatile market conditions. Earlier in Mark's career, a role as a Process Improvement Engineer at Intel established a strong foundation in quality and continuous improvement. Mark holds a BSc in Chemistry from Queen's University Belfast, a CFA charter, a Professional Certificate in Stockbroking from University College Dublin, and a Diploma in Technical Analysis from The Society of Technical Analysts.
