Katherine Risbrough

Katherine Risbrough, EdD, currently serves as Assistant Principal and Math Instructional Coordinator at Synergy Academies, where responsibilities include coaching and coordinating the 6-12 Math Department and teaching AP Calculus AB. Previously, Katherine Risbrough worked at Aspire Public Schools as an AP Calculus and Integrated III Teacher and at Gestalt Community Schools as a K-12 Mathematics Instructional Coach and High School Mathematics Teacher. Katherine Risbrough began professional experience with Teach For America as a 2013 Corps Member and completed an internship at the Downtown Women's Center. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Education in Instructional Change from the University of Southern California, a Master's Degree in Secondary Education and Teaching from The Johns Hopkins University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Health and Humanity from the University of Southern California. Additionally, Katherine Risbrough is certified to teach 6-12 mathematics.
