Stephen Rhoades

Stephen Rhoades has extensive work experience in the technology and web applications field. Stephen began their career as a Senior Graphic Designer, where they developed animations, user interfaces, and graphic design treatments for various company product lines and sales and marketing materials. Stephen then transitioned to the role of Web Developer, where they developed a company intranet portal and custom business applications. In their role as a Project Manager, Stephen was responsible for vendor management, project scheduling, requirements gathering, usability testing, and rollout and training for web applications. Stephen then took on the role of Manager of Web Applications, where they led the implementation and management of a large portfolio of business and customer-facing web applications and data warehousing solutions. Stephen also partnered with senior leadership to define technology strategy. Most recently, Stephen held the position of Director of Web Applications at Bowlmor AMF, where they managed all aspects of a portfolio of web applications, data warehousing, and reporting solutions for a chain of over 300 bowling centers. Stephen also partnered with senior leadership to define and implement technology strategy in support of business acquisitions. Currently, they are working as the Director of Business Applications at Synergy Technical, LLC.

Stephen Rhoades attended the University of Maryland from 1992 to 1995, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Fine/Studio Arts, General. Prior to that, they attended Purchase College, SUNY from 1989 to 1991, although the specific degree and field of study are unknown. In addition to their formal education, Stephen Rhoades obtained a certification as a ScrumMaster from the Scrum Alliance in April 2015.
