George Doherty

George Doherty CPA has extensive work experience in finance and accounting roles. George began their career as a Senior Auditor at Arthur Andersen & Co. in 1986. George then worked at Staples as a SEC Reporting Analyst and later as a Cash and Sales Audit Supervisor. In 2000, they joined Novanta Inc. where they held various positions including Division Controller, Corporate Controller, and Controller - MicroE Systems. From 2009 to 2011, they served as the Chief Financial Officer at AgaMatrix. George then worked at NetCracker as a Corporate Controller from 2012 to 2018. In 2019, they joined Guardian Therapeutics Inc. as the VP of Finance and Business Operations. Currently, they hold the position of VP Global Controller at Syniti since 2020.

George Doherty CPA holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Accounting from Northeastern University. George is also a Certified Public Accountant, certified by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. The month when they obtained their CPA certification is June.
