Avinash Pillai

Avinash Pillai has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Avinash began their career as a Trainee Engineer at Aztec Software Ltd, where they handled desktop and helpdesk calls. Avinash then progressed to the role of Engineer in System Administration, where they were responsible for maintaining servers, desktop systems, and troubleshooting issues. Avinash later became a Senior Engineer in System Administration, focusing on installing and managing operating systems, hardware, and antivirus servers. Avinash then moved on to the role of Assistant Manager in the Systems Management Group, where they supervised and trained engineers, managed production servers, and handled SQL clustering and storage architecture design. At Aztecsoft, Avinash also worked as a Deputy Manager in IT, overseeing SLA-based helpdesk support, security audits, and certifications.

Avinash then joined MindTree Ltd. as a Senior Technical Specialist, providing technical consultation to Verisign Inc. and resolving complex technical problems. Avinash was later promoted to the role of Technical Manager, managing data center operations, leading a team of engineers, and conducting data center migration projects for US customers.

Currently, Avinash is working at Syniverse, where they started as an ASE - Syniverse Technologies, responsible for the implementation and operation of technology infrastructure in the company's North America Data Center. Avinash then progressed to the role of Senior Technology Manager, managing system administration, networks, database, and application operations for enterprise messaging. Currently, Avinash is serving as the Technology Director at Syniverse, leading technology operations for multimillion-dollar messaging, number lookup, and antispam services.

Avinash Pillai obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from the University of Kerala in 1999. Avinash then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Data Communication and Networks from Periyar University from 1999 to 2001.
