Melissa Pici, MSISA, CISA, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in governance, risk, and compliance within the IT sector. Currently serving as the Global Governance, Risk, and Compliance Director at Syniverse since April 2005, Melissa oversees annual testing for SSAE-16, SOX, and financial audit reports, engages with executive management, and leads an IT audit team in India. Previous roles include Sr. IT Audit Manager, Internal Audit Manager - IT, and contractor for SOX implementation at Syniverse, as well as foundational experience at AT&T. As a founding member of the Internal Audit Collective since January 2025, Melissa brings a strong educational background with a Master's degree in Information Security and Assurance from Norwich University and multiple degrees from St. Petersburg College in related fields.
