Trevor MacDonald

Trevor MacDonald has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Trevor is currently employed at Syniverse as a Senior Director, where they are responsible for overseeing 10DLC and Messaging Services Strategy. Prior to this, Trevor worked at Verizon for a significant part of their career. During their time at Verizon, they held various positions, including Senior Manager of Network Engineering and Principal Engineer. In these roles, they led teams, advised internal business partners on application services, managed budgets, and negotiated contracts. Trevor also worked as a Switch Technician at Verizon, troubleshooting and resolving customer issues related to the wireless network. Before joining Verizon, Trevor gained experience as a Production Supervisor at General Motors, where they supervised skilled trades and improved quality and productivity. Overall, Trevor has demonstrated expertise in network engineering, vendor management, and leadership throughout their career.

Trevor MacDonald holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Business Administration and Management from The University of Texas at Dallas, obtained from 2008 to 2011. Trevor also has a Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies in Engineering and Management in the Business World from The University of Texas at Arlington, earned from 2005 to 2008. Prior to that, Trevor obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Kettering University from 2002 to 2005. In addition to their formal education, Trevor has obtained several certifications, including AWS Certified Sys Ops Administrator - Associate, AWS Certified Developer - Associate, Python Data Structures and Programming for Everybody (Getting Started with Python) certifications from Coursera. Trevor also holds certifications such as Certified Solutions Architect - Associate, Scrum Master, CompTia Cloud Essentials, and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
