Eric Anderson, CFA

Eric Anderson, CFA has a diverse background in finance and technology. Eric is currently the Founder and Chief Technology Officer at SynMax, a position they have held since May 2021. Prior to that, Eric was the Founder and CTO at SkyFi from August 2021 to May 2022.

From January 2018 to May 2021, Eric worked at Skylar Capital Management LP as a Quantitative Analyst. In this role, they developed and maintained data-driven models for forecasting and understanding commodity fundamentals, specializing in Artificial Intelligence, Neural Networks, and Deep Learning Models. Eric also worked as a Natural Gas Analyst from September 2013 to January 2018, where they built and maintained models to provide insights into market operations and collaborated with traders to develop trade ideas.

Before joining Skylar Capital Management LP, Eric worked at Merrill Lynch as a Power & Coal Middle Office P&L Analyst from June 2012 to September 2013. Eric also gained experience in finance and risk control at Sinopec USA, Inc. from June 2011 to June 2012.

Eric began their career as an Analyst at Summit Student Investment Fund from 2010 to 2011.

Throughout their career, Eric has demonstrated expertise in quantitative analysis, forecasting, model development, and working closely with traders. Eric is also skilled in programming languages such as R, Python, and VBA.

Eric Anderson, CFA received their Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Colorado State University, where they studied from 2008 to 2011. In August 2015, they obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder certification from the CFA Institute.
