John Chi

John Chi is the current CEO at Synova Life Sciences. John has previous experience as Special Council at DPOUSA from June 2016 to March 2019, and as Lead Developer at Novica.com from October 2010 to February 2015. At Novica, they were responsible for building the software infrastructure from the ground up to launch the direct sales business division. John also developed and managed e-commerce and business intelligence projects and initiatives from concept to production. Furthermore, they designed and implemented system architecture and database structures for migration to n-tiered high-volume application architecture. Lastly, they played a key role in creating software structure to support marketing initiatives that resulted in annual sales growth of over 15% from $17MM to over $20MM.

John Chi attended Y Combinator and received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University. John then went on to obtain a Master of Biotechnology from Applied Biotechnology at California State University, Los Angeles, followed by another Master of Biotechnology from Applied Biotechnology at California State University, Fullerton. John's final Master of Biotechnology was obtained from Applied Biotechnology at California State Polytechnic University-Pomona. In addition, they have a certification from CITI Program in Biomedical Data or Specimens Only Research and another certification from CITI Program in Biohazard Safety. Finally, they have a certification from California State University, Fullerton in Institutional Review Board (IRB) - Human Research.
