Rob Kent

As Chief Operating Officer, Rob Kent runs Synova’s operations and financial analysis. Previously Rob was CEO of O2 Concepts, a start-up medical device manufacturer of portable oxygen equipment. Rob and his team changed the industry by launching the first connected portable oxygen devices in a partnership with Verizon. This allowed caregivers to monitor equipment location and patient compliance, and propelled O2 Concepts to 5X growth in three years. Rob has launched over 10 Class 2 Medical Devices through FDA and CE approval and is the operational driver at Synova. Over his career he has led operations, sales, finance and product development in fortune 500, private equity and teams of over 200 people and operating budgets of over $40M. Rob holds a bachelors in Economics from the United States Naval Academy and an MBA from UC Irvine. Rob was an all Eastern Conference Rugby player and is an avid golfer. He enjoys being a husband, active community member, and father of two boys.
