Ronan Martin

Ronan Martin is an experienced application engineer at Synova SA, with a tenure since March 2010, specializing in cutting natural diamonds and ultrahard materials, as well as drilling cooling holes in turbine components. Responsibilities include process development, application reporting, technology demonstration, customer training, and overseeing external software development. Prior to this, Ronan completed a PhD in Physics at EPFL from December 2004 to April 2009, focusing on optimizing thermal treatments of steels in collaboration with Usines Métallurgiques de Vallorbe. Earlier internships at Infineon Technologies and Siemens involved optimizing nanotube-based transistors and investigating innovative processing methods in polymer electronics, respectively. Academic credentials include a Magistère in Materials from Université de Rennes I obtained between 2001 and 2004.
